I’m delighted to offer “Secret Power of the Alphabet”, presented in a format that allows you to work at your own pace, in your own time, however long it takes.

The title of this class is inspired by a poem by Gregory Orr.
The poem begins: “Occult power of the alphabet….”
His poem evokes the power of words, of writing, or re-making your world with words. This quality of potential in an alphabet is multiplied when the alphabet is not the one we were taught— at least for me I cannot help but be transported while writing in a foreign alphabet. I love that it takes me to places I haven’t been, or have long forgotten.
The intention of this class is for you to enjoy writing, to be taken to new places, and to develop the skills you need for making your own alphabet.
Here’s the basic structure of the class:
Five Chapters
The class has five chapters: Begin, Development of Characters, Writing Tools, Alternate Tools & Epilogue. Each chapter contains several exercises, a materials list for the exercise and video examples.
Lesson Videos
There are videos that includes reflections and demonstration.
Lesson Packets
There are pdf files for you to print out for reference, and to facilitate being screen-free.
