Many of my students have expressed an interest in going further with ways to add detail to the work they’ve done in class.

I am listening to their requests and enthusiasm with new ideas.

For those of you who would enjoy the opportunity to interact with other students and me in an online format, I will be offering a series of three live sessions via Zoom this spring.

The series will focus on simple ways to add details to the book(s) you have made, incorporating techniques including collage with fabric and paper, stitching, found poems, making pockets and envelopes, and reworking pages you don’t like.

I’ll show demonstration videos during the class, allow some time for questions and answers, and give you time to share with one another. At the close of each session, I’ll offer a prompt to inspire you to play in your book before the next session.

I’m limiting the number of seats in this three-session series, so register soon!

If you’ve purchased Speak to Me From Everywhere, you will receive a $50 discount.

Date

The first session will celebrate the first day of spring: March 19, 2024. The following two sessions will be April 16 and 30. All sessions will begin at 2 PM EST and will last approximately two hours each.

(Sessions will be recorded, so don’t worry if you can’t attend each session live. Recordings will be available for three months.)

Cost

  • New online students: $145

  • Students who have purchased “Speak to Me From Everywhere”: $95

  • Students 18-25 years : $25

We have several scholarships available. If you would like to request one, please fill out this form.

I hope you’ll join me and some of your fellow online students for this special opportunity to meet with one another. I’m looking forward to it!
