I am delighted to have the company and skill of multi-media and book artist, Mari Bohley. Mari is traveling from Germany to assist in this class, which will be devoted to exploring a new book form in three parts: questioning, dreaming and answering. The content in our books will arise from these themes: What questions do you have? What happens when you take these questions into dreamtime, or a walk in the desert? What happens when you ask your book for answers? We will explore these ideas in the sacred space of our Taos workspace through silence, conversation, collage, paint and written expression.

In Taos we will cultivate content through writing, drawing, painting, and bookmaking in a contemplative atmosphere. From professionals to brand new beginners, if you want to renew your creative well, come study with me in Taos.

Each of you will take home a testimonial to the work you do in the form of a handmade book. All levels of experience are welcome.

Workshop Fee

The workshop fee includes the class, your room, all your meals and the workshop. All rooms have a private bath, and the meals are local and delicious.

Double room: $3,600

Single room: $4200

A $500 non-refundable deposit is due upon registration. The balance is due December 1, 2027. Payment plans and scholarships available.
