There is a beauty in learning form so well that is becomes internalized. Spontaneity, expression, and working with abstract forms does not come out of nowhere– it arises from structure. I am interested in what happens when we work with form long enough that it becomes something else. In a class in abstract painting we will explore this idea through image and text. We will begin with a line. The horizon is a universal place we all recognize as the line between heaven and earth.
