An Exploration in Abstract Painting |

Imagine a map of your work. Where is the unexplored territory? Come with an idea, a dream, an image or a theme that you want to explore. We will create a series of paintings and incorporate techniques of underpainting, glazes, chine colle, texture, color and composition. We will be using acrylic paint, mediums, and paper. Writing techniques will also be used as a way into the work, and incorporated into a small Book of Days. Be prepared for a contemplative and occasionally boisterous atmosphere, punctuated by outbursts of poetry. “The one great worrying question in a student’s mind is this: Where do I go from here?
