A Weekend Workshop with Laurie Doctor at Naropa University, Boulder, CO • March 12 & 13

The act of writing is full of pleasure that increases with skill. We will explore lettering through a collection of writing implements and a series of experiments based on rhythmical writing patterns, music and poetry.
Each student will begin with their own handwriting as a place of departure.

Then we will follow W. H. Auden’s advice and leap before we look.

Time: From 10 AM - 5 PM
Place: Naropa University, Nalanda Campus • Boulder, CO

There will be a $10 materials fee payable to the instructor at the time of the workshop.
A list of simple materials to bring will be sent to participants after registering.
