The act of writing is full of pleasure that increases with skill. We will explore lettering through a collection of writing implements  and a series of experiments based on rhythmical writing patterns,  music and poetry. Each student will begin with examples of  “landscape writing” as a place of departure.

This workshop is part of a series that investigates the ways that the universal elements of line, pattern and texture, as they are found in landscape, can be reflected through writing, drawing and painting.
