How do we find archetypal or universal images
that are profoundly personal?
How do we tap into the surface of our painting as if it has
images to reveal, as if the surface itself is a poem?
How do we find a visual language that becomes
our own painting series?
We will use imagery and contemplation as a way
to finding the visual vocabulary for each individual
series of work.
This class is designed for beginning to advanced artists who may have lots of techniques but not know how to articulate what their work is about, or are looking for a new perspective.
